TERRA Gebäudetechnik GmbH (until 2018 TERRA Lighting GmbH) was founded in 2016 in Hüllhorst and is part of the WORTMANN group of companies. The company is a full-service provider of technical building equipment for industry and trade: it installs and maintains low-voltage electrical systems, implements control and automation technology including KNX building automation, safety technology, network and fiber-optic infrastructure as well as control cabinets and electrical distribution boards. In addition, the service portfolio covers plumbing, heating and air-conditioning technology, refrigeration technology, pipeline construction as well as maintenance and repair of compressors. A focus lies on the development, production and marketing of lighting systems under the TERRA in-house brand: the TERRA ViTRiA LED retrofit light rails allow the continued use of existing rail systems and conversion during ongoing operation. LED production has been operated in Löhne since 2019. 55 employees (as of 2023), including 31 in electrical engineering and 9 in the plumbing/HVAC sector, serve customers such as Westfalia, Pöppelmann, Siematic and BRECO; delivery and services take place in Germany.

Founding of TERRA Lighting GmbH on 21.10.2016 by Olaf Biemelt and Wortmann Beteiligungs GmbH; Siegbert Wortmann and Olaf Biemelt appointed as managing directors; start as a distributor (Toshiba, Opple) with the TERRA in-house brand.
- 2017
Distribution agreement for Toshiba Lighting (April 2017); service expansion into video and security technology (August 2017); majority stake in EAST Produktions GmbH in Helmstedt, renamed TERRA Produktion GmbH (September 2017).
