TerraTransfer GmbH is an owner-managed manufacturer of environmental measurement technology based in Bochum. Since 2007, the company has developed and manufactured the Aquatos data loggers, pressure and radar sensors, temperature measurement chains, measuring buoys and self-contained weather stations in its own workshop and production facilities. The devices are made of stainless steel (V2A, V4A, 316 Ti), titanium as well as plastics such as POM, HDPE and PE, and are designed for permanent field use up to IP68. The portfolio also includes the Sensormanager software and the Aquatos Field field app for measurement network management and data evaluation. In addition to sales and software development, TerraTransfer performs assembly, commissioning, maintenance, repair and calibration on site and in-house. Customers include water associations, dam operators, municipalities, environmental authorities, utilities and industry in over 30 countries; more than 20,000 loggers are in operation.

Quality & Standards
Every device is assembled and tested in the company's own workshop in Bochum; repair and calibration are carried out in-house. Temperature measurement chains are calibrated against an ITS-90 reference (±0.1 °C), pressure probes achieve ±0.15% of full scale, radar level measurement typically 2–3 mm.
