About tesa

tesa SE is an international manufacturer of self-adhesive tapes and adhesive solutions headquartered in Norderstedt. The portfolio comprises around 7,000 products for applications such as bonding, assembly, bundling, insulating, marking, masking, sealing, packaging and surface protection. In the industrial sector, tesa supplies, among other things, optically clear adhesive films (OCA) for display integration, double-sided mounting tapes as well as electrical and thermal insulation tapes. The adhesive masses based on acrylate or rubber are coated onto backing materials such as film, fabric or paper; at the Hamburg plant, tesa produces optically clear adhesive films in a cleanroom for the automotive and electronics industries. Customer industries include automotive, electronics, household appliances, printing and paper, construction as well as solar energy. The company employs around 5,400 people worldwide, 2,465 of them in Germany, and operates 11 production sites and 56 subsidiaries.
