About Testia
Testia is a full-service provider specializing in structural integrity and non-destructive testing (NDT) and has been a 100 % subsidiary of the Airbus Group since 2015. Founded in 1991 by Aérospatiale, the company offers NDT training and certification to NAS410/EN4179 at all qualification levels, inspections, consulting and engineering services, as well as a broad portfolio of inspection equipment and software. The inspection methods include ultrasonic testing, eddy current, penetrant testing, magnetic particle, radiography, computed tomography, infrared thermography, visual inspection and shearography for metallic materials as well as composites such as CFRP. In addition, Testia develops automated inspection and manufacturing systems, augmented reality applications, drone solutions (including Launching Partner of the Airbus Advanced Inspection Drone) and solutions for structural health monitoring. Customers come primarily from aerospace (OEM, MRO, airlines) as well as from additive manufacturing, automotive, wind energy, defense and rail transport. With locations in Europe, North America and Asia, customers are served worldwide.
