About TETA Automation
TETA AUTOMATION GMBH was founded in 1995 by graduate engineers Burkhard Abel and Rudolf Timmes in Kamp-Lintfort and specialises in control and regulation systems for stage and theatre technology. The core product is the TÜV type-certified STAGE MASTER computer control system for overhead and under-stage machinery, electric and hydraulic drives as well as single and group movements. The service portfolio covers planning, software development, circuit diagram creation with EPLAN, control cabinet and power electronics construction, the manufacture of control desks, radio-controlled desks and operating panels, as well as cabling, commissioning and documentation. In addition, shear-edge safety devices for stage platforms, test bench technology, modernisation of legacy systems including winches, platforms and turntables, as well as maintenance, repairs, TÜV inspections, staff training and a 24-hour service are offered. The manufacture of desks and sheet steel control cabinets takes place in the company's own workshop at headquarters. References include the Nationaltheater München, Staatstheater Braunschweig, Aalto-Theater Essen and the Gasteig München.

Materials & Drive Technology
STAGE MASTER control system
TÜV type-certified safety computer system (SIL 3 according to IEC 61508-2010) for overhead and under-stage machinery with electric and hydraulic drives.
Sheet steel
Material of the control cabinets for power electronics and drive technology, equipped with a power socket and interior lighting.
Pulse inverters
For synchronous and asynchronous motors; with the same hardware, speed control ranges of at least 1:1,000 are achievable.
Hydraulic control system
Regulation system that enables smooth, harmonious movements for hydraulic stage drives.
Operating desks
Main, auxiliary and radio-controlled desks with two operating computers, TFT touchscreens, motion levers with dead-man function and emergency stop.
Shear-edge safety device
Safety solutions for stage platforms such as barriers, light curtains, switch mats and bumpers.
Inductive energy transfer
First used in theatre technology in 2004 (Staatstheater Braunschweig) for the wireless power supply of a revolving stage wagon.
