About Tethys Robotics
Tethys Robotics AG is a spin-off of ETH Zurich based in Schlieren (Switzerland). The company develops and manufactures the compact underwater drone Tethys ONE, which operates autonomously as an AUV/ROV, holds its position independently in water currents up to 3.5 knots, and enables high-resolution inspections including 3D scanning even in murky waters. Its purpose is automated underwater inspections and assessments, particularly for Offshore Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind, Hydro and Search & Rescue. The drone is suitable for offshore and onshore use and is deployed quickly and easily on site. Since 2024, the system has been available for global orders; the company sells it through a growing reseller and partner network, including SeaRenergy and SepcoTech in Denmark. Aramco Europe publicly tested the system on a Swiss lake.
