Tettenborn Werkzeug & Formenbau e.K. is a mould maker founded in 1980 and based in Solingen. The company manufactures moulds for injection moulding and die casting and machines workpieces on CNC-controlled precision machines from renowned German and Swiss manufacturers using milling, EDM and grinding processes. In addition to mould making, Tettenborn offers the design of tool concepts, product development from design through material selection to technical functionality, as well as contract machining of individual complex components. Engraving technology has been part of the service portfolio for over 40 years. Customers come from the tool and mould making industry as well as the injection moulding and die casting industries. In May 2025, the company moved to new premises on Klauberger Straße in Solingen.
