About TGE Gas Engineering
TGE Gas Engineering GmbH is an internationally active EPC provider (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) for terminals and storage systems for liquefied and cryogenic gases such as LNG, LPG, ethylene, propylene, ammonia, hydrogen and CO2. Its service portfolio ranges from feasibility studies, site selection and conceptual design to basic and detailed engineering (FEED), procurement and construction management through to commissioning, operation and maintenance services and life-cycle optimization. Core products are storage tanks with volumes from 1,200 m³ to 200,000 m³, loading and unloading stations for ships and trucks as well as refrigeration, regasification and liquefaction units; tank concepts include cryogenic tanks, earth-covered tanks (ECT), bullet tanks and spherical tanks. Civil tank design uses reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete for outer containers and foundations, including soil-structure interaction analyses. Customers come from the energy, LNG, petrochemical/chemical, oil & gas and green energy sectors, including INEOS Belgium and Flogas Britain. Founded in 1980 in Bonn, the company has belonged to the CIMC Group since 2008 and operates six sites in Europe and Asia, including operating centers in Bonn, Shanghai and Eastleigh (Technodyne) as well as offices in Manchester, New Delhi and Munich.
