About Thaler Maschinenbau

Thaler Maschinenbau is a contract manufacturer for CNC machining founded in 2015 by the brothers Daniel and Tobias Thaler, based in Ortenburg (Passau district). The company produces precise milled, turned and ground parts from aluminium, stainless steel, tool steel and plastics – from one-off pieces and prototypes through to automated series production. At the core of production are a 5-axis machining centre DMG DMU 75 Monoblock with long-bed automation for repeat parts as well as a 3-axis centre DMG DMC 1150 V for large-format workpieces up to 1100 × 700 × 600 mm and 1 tonne in weight. The offering is complemented by sawing, laser marking (Trumpf), CAD/CAM design with HyperMILL and Autodesk Inventor, as well as heat and surface treatments and assembly outsourced to partner companies. Quality assurance takes place in a climate-controlled measuring room with a Zeiss coordinate measuring machine, with inspection reports available on request. Customers come from mechanical and plant engineering, medical technology, automotive and motorsport, food technology and electrical engineering. The processes are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
