About The Elmet Group
The Elmet Group Co. (NASDAQ: ELMT) is a US-based provider of critical materials, precision-manufactured components and high-energy systems for aerospace, defense, industrial, medical technology, semiconductor/electronics and energy applications. The group is organized into three divisions: Critical Materials Components (CMC) as the only US-owned, vertically integrated manufacturer of pure tungsten and molybdenum, Engineered Microwave Products (EMP) for high-power microwave components and RF engineering, and Elmet Refining & Trading (ERT) for the sourcing, refining and supply of tungsten. The value chain extends from metal powder production through pressing and sintering, arc melting, extrusion, rolling, wire drawing and thermomechanical processing to precision machining, fabrication and additive manufacturing. In addition to pure metals, specialty alloys such as TZM, C103 and potassium-doped tungsten are processed. The headquarters is located in Portland, Maine; CMC manufacturing comprises three plants in Maine, Ohio and Michigan with over 500,000 square feet of floor space. The group supplies more than 100 US defense programs and over 95 programs of national laboratories as well as customers worldwide.

Materials and Processes
Tungsten
Metal with the highest melting point of all metals; used in aerospace, defense, medical and semiconductor technology.
Molybdenum
High thermal conductivity and strength at high temperatures, suitable for components with high dimensional stability and corrosion resistance.
Niobium
Lightest refractory metal with high temperature resistance for defense, aerospace and energy applications.
Tantalum
Refractory metal for specialty alloys and components in critical industries.
C103 alloy (niobium alloy)
Heat-resistant, lightweight alloy for aerospace, propulsion and satellite applications.
TZM (titanium-zirconium-molybdenum)
Molybdenum alloy with higher strength at extreme temperatures, e.g. for engine components and billets.
Potassium-doped tungsten
Specialty wire made of doped tungsten with tight dimensional, electrical and mechanical tolerances.
Sodium tungstate
Tungsten chemical for the U.S. National Defense Stockpile.
