About The Imaging Source
The Imaging Source is a manufacturer of industrial cameras, board-level cameras, video signal converters and embedded vision components founded in 1988 and headquartered in Bremen. The portfolio comprises more than 100 industrial camera models with standard interfaces such as GigE Vision and USB3 Vision, including IP67-compliant industrial series (Acuva GMSL2, Visus GigE) as well as zoom and autofocus cameras of the Aptiris USB 3.1 series. In addition to development in Bremen, the subsidiary The Imaging Source Asia in New Taipei City produces PCBA components on its own SMT production line, which was commissioned in 2022 after a move to larger premises. Distribution is via direct sales and a network of sales partners in Europe, North and South America, and Asia. Fields of application include factory automation, quality control, logistics, medicine and life sciences, microscopy, traffic and rail, and security technology. The scope of supply includes driver packages, SDKs and consulting for application development.
