About The Pet Factory

The Pet Factory is a sole proprietorship founded by Martin Höhle in 2001, based in Hülsede (Lower Saxony). Originating from a purchasing cooperative of breeders and enthusiasts, the company imports and exports invertebrates such as tarantulas, beetles, millipedes, mantids, scorpions and land crabs worldwide. On more than 1200 square metres, the company operates a modern shipping warehouse along with its own breeding facilities. The range also includes transport materials, Faunaboxes, breeding substrates, feed, plants, sprinkler systems, accessories and specialist literature (CHIMAIRA, Tetra Verlag), which are also supplied to the retail trade. The Pet Factory is a distributor for ZooMed and sells products by Econlux and Blue River Diets; in addition, own product ideas are developed from customer enquiries. Cooperation with the Eulenburg University and Town Museum Rinteln and the Weltvogelpark Walsrode complement its activities.
