About paperlesspaper
paperlesspaper is a brand of The Wire UG (haftungsbeschränkt) from Leipzig. The small team develops and produces wireless ePaper picture frames (OpenPaper 7 with a 7.3-inch Spectra 6 display, OpenPaper L with a 13.3-inch panel) that run for up to six months on a single battery charge and are updated via Wi-Fi using an app or API. The electronics with a custom-developed circuit board, the firmware, the apps for Android, iOS and browser, as well as an integration ecosystem (including Home Assistant, Google Calendar, Immich) are all created in-house. The hardware and software are published entirely as open source, including circuit board, 3D printing and laser cutting files. The enclosures are made of high-quality solid ash wood picture frames with UV70 museum glass; production and assembly take place in Germany. Delivery is within Germany.
