About Theben

The Theben AG is a family-owned manufacturer of energy-saving and building automation products, founded in 1921. The product range covers presence and motion detectors, digital and analogue time switches, stairwell time switches, impulse switches, dimmers, room and clock thermostats, sensors for climate control as well as a broad spectrum of KNX actuators, push-button sensors, weather stations and DALI-2 light control. With few exceptions, the entire product range is manufactured at the headquarters in Haigerloch; toolmaking and plastics technology is handled by the subsidiary PEZET in Haigerloch. Through its OEM division tts, Theben develops and produces customised software, electrical engineering and mechanical solutions for industrial customers such as ABB, Bosch, Hager, Siemens and Viessmann. Every product undergoes 100% final inspection; developments are tested from concept to production maturity in the in-house, VDE-authorised testing laboratory. The Theben Group is represented by sales companies in over 60 countries; for Switzerland, Theben HTS AG is based in Effretikon.
