About Themex
Themex Möbel produces knock-down, carton-packed furniture for the take-away market at its Themar site in southern Thuringia. The range includes baby and youth rooms as well as single wardrobe programs, including hinged-door and sliding-door wardrobes, baby and single beds, changing tables, nightstands, drawer units, writing and dressing tables as well as shelving. Production is order-based and commission-based for the discount and retail trade; up to 1,700 items leave the plant daily. Materials are primarily chipboard, wood and veneer; a double-end tenoner has been in use for series production since 1958. Around 130 employees produce and deliver for customers in Germany, Europe and beyond. The company can look back on a furniture tradition in Themar dating back to 1828 and is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 50001.
