About Thermic Edge Europe
Thermic Edge Europe GmbH specialises in custom vacuum heating technology and offers an end-to-end service covering design, manufacturing and testing. The portfolio includes ultrahigh-vacuum (UHV) furnaces such as graphite vacuum furnaces, tungsten furnaces and benchtop furnaces, as well as a broad range of heating solutions, including nickel-chromium heaters, halogen lamp heaters and PG/PBN heaters. In addition, the company produces high-purity ceramic coatings, in particular pyrolytic boron nitride (PBN), including as a coating for graphite heating elements for uniform temperature profiles in semiconductor manufacturing. Further products include high-density graphite materials and electrographite for high-temperature processes, refractory metals, ceramics, thermocouples as well as vacuum products and power supplies. Customers come from the semiconductor, chemical and nuclear industries as well as from research and laboratory applications. PBN impresses with extreme purity (metallic impurities below 10 ppm) and temperature resistance up to 1800 °C in vacuum; graphite is stable up to 3200 °C. The experienced engineering team supports projects on a customer-specific basis or according to standardised specifications through to delivery.
