Thermopad GmbH, based in Freudenstadt in the Black Forest, is a manufacturer of air-activated heat pads for the whole body. The product range includes hand warmers, toe warmers, insole warmers, mini warmers, body warmers, heat belts, neck warmers as well as the Thermopad Medical product line with heat plasters and heat wraps for local heat application. The warmers are activated by contact with oxygen after opening the airtight packaging and deliver constant heat over several hours; ingredients include iron powder, common salt and activated carbon. The program is complemented by accessories such as a hat made of 100 % merino wool. Thermopad is an official supplier of the German Ski National Teams and sells its products through its own online shop as well as brick-and-mortar retail, including Intersport, pharmacies and DIY stores. Since 2026, the company has offered medical products for the temporary relief of muscle tension.
