About Thermotemp

Thermotemp was a provider of safety technology based on infrared and CCTV camera technology, headquartered in Siegen. Its range of services included thermography, early fire detection with infrared cameras, especially in waste bunkers, video smoke detection with CCTV cameras, steam detection in turbine halls, as well as fire position sensing and furnace cameras. The systems served for the early detection of fires and critical conditions in industrial facilities such as waste bunkers, power plant installations and furnaces. Since February 2026, the company has been dissolved and is in liquidation; the liquidator is Jörg Friedrichs. Parties interested in infrared-based early fire detection systems are referred to DIAS Infrared Systems, and parties interested in software solutions, furnace cameras and retraction devices are referred to kernel concepts.
