ThermoWhite® – RETHINK INSULATION

About ThermoWhite
ThermoWhite® is an Austrian insulation system based on mineral-bound blown insulation made from recycled EPS (polystyrene, HBCD-free). Instead of cutting insulation boards and building up multiple layers, the material is mixed and applied seamlessly on site, providing levelling, thermal insulation and impact sound protection in a single system. The mobile production and conveying unit MixMobil prepares styrene granulate and ThermoWhite® compound on the construction site and conveys up to approx. 15 m³ per hour at hose lengths of up to approx. 150 m. Installation thicknesses of up to approx. 50 cm and more are possible in a single pass. Application areas include pitched roofs and attics, floors, vaults with high layer thicknesses, flat roofs and pool backfilling – for new construction and renovation. The products are ETA-certified and CE-certified, recyclable and meet the requirements of, among others, subsidised housing programs. In 2019 the system was awarded the ENERGY GLOBE AWARD.

Materials & Processes
Recycled EPS (polystyrene granulate, HBCD-free)
Recyclable core material for blown-in insulation, reusable and not to be disposed of as hazardous waste.
ThermoWhite® Compound (mineral-bound)
Mineral-bound compound that is processed on site with the granulate and water into a homogeneous mixture.
ThermoWhite® PE 5/300
System component with which up to 32 dB impact sound reduction can be achieved within the system.
