About THEURL
THEURL HOLZ ASSLING GmbH is an Austrian manufacturer of structural timber construction solutions headquartered in Thal-Aue, Assling in Tyrol. From domestic roundwood, the company produces sawn timber in its own roundwood centre and sawmill, which is refined in the planing mill into planed square-edge boards, formwork panels and floorboards and dried in its own drying kilns. Further processing includes glulam (BSH) and cross-laminated timber (CLTPLUS) in its own plants with joinery centres, where modern joinery machines machine the elements to plan specifications. In addition, fasteners and steel components are pre-assembled at the factory onto BSH and CLTPLUS components. With the new pellet plant and the biomass CHP plant, sawmill by-products are processed into pellets and 100 % of the raw material used is utilised. The portfolio of services also includes timber construction planning, logistics with its own trucks and digital project management via the THEURL Information Manager (TIM). Customers come from residential construction, commercial construction, hotel construction, educational institutions and single-family home construction.
