About Thieme Elektromaschinen
Thieme Elektromaschinen is a family business founded in 1980 in Barby/Elbe, specialising in the repair and overhaul of electric drive systems. Its range of services covers AC, single-phase and DC machines, generators, gearboxes and gear motors, pumps of many different designs as well as servo motors with encoder systems. In its own repair shop, windings are newly manufactured using modern winding machines; a stock of winding wires, insulating films and connecting leads enables short turnaround times. The machine shop is equipped with drilling, turning and milling machines as well as mechanical and hydraulic presses for press and shrink fits. ATEX machines have been repaired since 1990; since 2015 the company has been officially authorised as a competent person for testing drives overhauled in compliance with explosion protection (Ex e, Ex d). The offering is complemented by an on-site service with fault diagnostics, laser-optic shaft alignment and bearing condition diagnostics for industrial companies across the region.
