About thyssenkrupp Automotive Technology

thyssenkrupp Automotive Technology is a business segment of thyssenkrupp AG and develops and manufactures function-critical mechanical components and mechatronic systems for the automotive industry. The portfolio ranges from chassis technologies such as steering and damping systems, springs and stabilizers, through the assembly of axle systems, to engine components for conventional and alternative drives. In addition, there are tracked vehicle undercarriage components, assembly systems for body construction and body lightweight components for series production. The Automotive Body Solutions unit covers integrated body construction – from prototype, tooling and plant engineering to series production of complete bodies in steel, aluminum and mixed-material construction. A growing focus is on mechatronic solutions with in-house developed electronics and software, such as Steer-by-Wire. Around 90 production sites on four continents form the production network; the entire value chain from development through manufacturing and machining to the assembly of highly complex systems is covered.
