thyssenkrupp Plastics Austria is part of thyssenkrupp Materials Austria GmbH and supplies branded plastics and composite materials for the construction and visual communication (Viskom) segments as well as for industrial requirements. The product range includes light-transmitting plastics such as PLEXIGLAS® (PMMA), polycarbonate (LEXAN™, Exolon®) and PET sheets, opaque materials for advertising technology and design, as well as aluminium composite panels, HPL panels, fibre cement boards and aluminium profile systems. Through the Final Service, the company offers a processing service: computer-supported sheet cutting, CO2 laser cutting and engraving, 3- and 4-axis CNC milling, thermal edge folding, gluing, hot forming of PLEXIGLAS® and polishing. In addition, engineering, on-site technical support, installation and construction, sample production up to prototype manufacturing, and warehouse logistics are offered. Customers come from facade, balcony and roofing construction, advertising and signage technology, trade fair and shopfitting, mechanical engineering, and the automotive and furniture industries. With three Austrian locations in Asten, Neunkirchen and Graz and around 50 employees, the company ensures fast availability and supplies customers throughout Austria and Europe, including Slovenia, Croatia and South Tyrol.
