About thyssenkrupp Uhde
thyssenkrupp Uhde GmbH is a globally active engineering company for the planning and construction of chemical, refinery and industrial plants and has been part of the Decarbon Technologies segment of Thyssenkrupp AG since October 2023. For over 100 years, more than 3,000 chemical and process plants have been realized. The range of services covers technology licensing as well as complete EPC projects (Engineering, Procurement, Construction), complemented by modularization, decarbonization strategies, digital plant services and lifecycle support. Process technologies include ammonia, methanol, refinery and petrochemical engineering, coking technology, high-pressure technology, fertilizer technology and chlor-alkali electrolysis. Through the Uhde Inventa-Fischer business division with locations in Berlin and Domat/Ems, proprietary polycondensation technologies for polyester (PET), polyamide and biopolymers such as polylactic acid (PLA) are offered; since 1924, more than 450 polymerization plants have been built. The headquarters are located in Dortmund, and the company is represented at over 20 sites in 16 countries.
