Water hydraulics from Essen – for over 50 years
Tiefenbach Wasserhydraulik GmbH in Essen designs and produces water hydraulic components and complete plant control systems: throttle, pressure relief, prefill, manual shut-off, pressure reducing, proportional, check, switching and special valves as well as hydraulic blocks, pump circulation control systems, hydroforming power units and test benches. Over 80% of workpieces are manufactured in-house. Machining is performed on Index universal lathes (B400/B500) with bar feeders for turned parts from 10 to 130 mm diameter made of non-ferrous metals, stainless steel and plastics; control blocks up to 10 t in weight are machined on a company-owned boring mill. Design uses 3D solid modeling with flow simulation. Fields of application are primarily the forging industry, hot forming, press construction, electric arc furnaces and mining. Production takes place at the main site in Essen, from where products are shipped worldwide; sales partners and a subsidiary support customers in North/South America, India and China.
