About TIFFY Power Storage
TIFFY Power Storage AG, based in Zug, develops and markets energy storage systems based on modern sodium-ion technology. The product portfolio includes a portable power station (1350 Wh / 2400 W), a modular home energy storage system (4.5–18 kWh, in development), an all-in-one commercial storage system (200 kWh / 144 kW, in field testing) as well as planned BESS containers with 1–2 MWh for large industry and grid operators. The lithium-free technology dispenses with critical raw materials such as lithium, cobalt or nickel, offers 4000–8000 charging cycles, thermal stability from -25°C to +55°C and a significantly lower risk of overheating or explosion. The storage systems are used for peak shaving, time shifting, grid stabilization, self-consumption optimization and emergency power supply. TIFFY pursues a European market focus and aims in the medium term to develop China-independent key components such as BMS, EMS and inverters in Europe.
