TIG Automation GmbH, headquartered in Hamburg with a further site in Langenfeld, develops and manufactures solutions for the intelligent control and automation of complex plants and machinery. The company designs, manufactures and installs switchgear – from individually adapted switch and control cabinets, IT system enclosures and terminal boxes to low-voltage main distribution boards and series production – with a capacity of 1,000 units per year. Production is carried out with a high degree of automation, including a CNC center for mechanical machining and a cable assembly center for wiring; engineering uses the CAE software EPLAN electric P8 including thermal calculations. Beyond switchgear, the company offers consulting and planning, PLC programming, SCADA visualization solutions, data analysis, electrical assembly and installation, commissioning, as well as maintenance of measurement, control and instrumentation (MCI) technology and PC/network technology with 24/7 on-call service and remote maintenance solutions. Since 1990, the TIG Purita division has implemented systems for ultrapure water, demineralized (VE) water, process, beverage and wastewater treatment. Customers come from industries such as water technology, waste management, exhaust air technology, chemicals, environmental and conveying technology, semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries, as well as power plant industry. Since 2022, TIG has been part of the LM GROUP.
