About TIMSAPH
TIMSAPH SA was founded in 2015 in Delémont after eight months of research and development and manufactures sapphire raw material in 100 % Swiss production. Manufacturing is based on the industrial Verneuil process, in which sapphire is grown drop by drop from aluminium oxide powder melted in a flame of various gases at temperatures above 2 000 °C. On this basis, the company has built up a fleet of 131 exclusive, in-house developed machines that allow ultra-fast fine regulation of gas and powder diffusion. Internal quality meets watch industry standards, while external quality is characterised by regular shapes and sizes. A stock of sapphire products with diameters of 27 to 44 mm enables delivery to brands and producers in the shortest time. Around ten qualified employees ensure production and inspection at the Delémont site.
