Tinian GmbH Rohstoffe, based in Pommelsbrunn, is a mid-sized manufacturer of plastic films for the packaging industry. The starting materials of production are polyethylene (LDPE, HDPE, LLDPE) and polypropylene, which are processed from granulate into tubular and flat films using the blown film extrusion process. On modern production lines, additives such as slip agents or antistatics as well as color batches are added directly during extrusion. For printed films, corona print pre-treatment is carried out, followed by flexographic printing with up to six colors. In the converting stage, the films are further processed according to customer specifications, for example welded into individual sacks, provided with tear-off perforation or cut to size. The product portfolio includes tubular films, flat films, covers, sacks and bags, cut-to-size sheets as well as stretch films. The company supplies customers in all industries in Germany and in the European market.
