Tipp Oil is a German lubricant manufacturer based in Bergkamen (plant and warehouse) with administration in Dortmund (Schloß Bodelschwingh). The company develops and produces engine oils for passenger cars, trucks, two-stroke and four-stroke engines as well as gas lubricants, gear oils (ATF, manual transmissions), universal oils for agriculture and construction machinery (STOU, UTTO, TO-4), industrial oils such as hydraulic, CLP gear, circulating and slideway oils, as well as compressor, marine, turbine and specialty oils and antifreeze products. Production is based on mineral and synthetic base oils (including PAO) with matched additive packages according to DIN standards and API specifications. Products are manufactured in Germany under strict guidelines and distributed via a worldwide network of dealers and distributors; additionally, there is a franchise partner program. With the Rebottle deposit system for plastic containers as well as the take-back of used oil and empty containers with partners, the company pursues a sustainable approach, certified by the sustainability seal of the German Institute for Sustainability & Economics.
