About twms consulting
twms consulting (tire.wheel.mobility solutions) is a freelance management consultancy founded in 2017 by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Günter Leister and based in Massenbachhausen. The owner previously spent more than ten years at Mercedes-Benz AG responsible for the development of wheels, tires and tire pressure monitoring with a team of 60 employees, and among other things introduced the Michelin PAX system as well as the first series-production run-flat tire together with Dunlop. The service portfolio covers the development and interpretation of tire-wheel scenarios, the creation of specifications, the identification of target conflicts, CO2 optimization of tires and wheels, determination of air pressure, definition of market-specific wheel portfolios, tire model parameterization as well as tire properties and tire calculation. Target groups are automobile manufacturers, wheel and tire manufacturers, manufacturers of tire and wheel testing machines, and research institutions. In addition, lectures, supervision of academic theses and a lean, transparent project execution are offered.
