About us
Tischlerei Armin Schnabel is a carpentry business (sole proprietorship) founded in 1998 in Altgaul near Wriezen. The company produces individual one-of-a-kind pieces such as farmhouse furniture, rustic furniture, built-in furniture, small furniture, accessories and display pieces as well as doors, floors and stairs; in addition, the business offers restorations. A special feature is the company's own sawmill, where predominantly regional timbers such as Brandenburg pine, larch, oak, alder and beech are cut into boards, planks and square-sawn timbers. The sawn timber is air-dried in a natural, CO2-neutral manner for one to five years depending on the wood species. Surface treatment is carried out with oils, waxes and water-based lacquers; in addition, veneered and decor chipboards, glass, acrylic glass, stainless steel, natural stone and mineral materials are processed. The business is located in the former horse stable of an estate in Altgaul on the edge of the Oderbruch region, now used as workshop and office.
