Third-generation construction joinery
The joinery Holz-Scheidt GmbH is a master-craft business in its third generation from Bösleben-Wüllersleben in Thuringia. Founded in 1951 by master coachbuilder Egon Scheidt, the family business now operates as a construction joinery with nine employees in a flexibly deployable workshop. Manufactured and restored are solid wood front and interior doors, wooden gates and fences, made-to-measure interior fittings, historical wood elements and wood facades made of overlap or profiled boards. A second pillar is work related to wood flooring: new installation of parquet and plank floors, including over underfloor heating, renovation, surface treatment, restoration and reproduction of historical floors, as well as terrace decking and subfloor preparation. In addition, the company produces custom-made windows and restores historical staircases including handrails, treads and risers. Its area of activity covers mainly central Thuringia; customers include private customers, builders, architects and public clients such as ThüringenForst or the Baugesellschaft Gotha.
