About the joinery

Tischlerei Mark Bähr is a master craftsman joinery with workshop and office in Berlin-Mitte (Wedding) that has been producing solid wood windows and wooden doors for Berlin period buildings for more than 25 years. Every component is measured on site, built in the company's own workshop and installed by its own team; no subcontractors are used. A special focus is the reproduction of historic window and door profiles: if a profile is no longer commercially available, it is reproduced using templates and milling tools so that it looks as it did when the building was constructed. In addition to new builds, the company offers repair and replacement in occupied buildings as well as the restoration of box-frame windows, with a particular focus on heritage conservation and renovation of existing buildings. The workshop also produces made-to-measure solid wood furniture and interior fittings, such as built-in wardrobes, reception counters and commercial fit-outs. The ten-person team is out and about in the greater Berlin area every day.
