The Company
TITAN Umreifungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Schwelm, is part of the family-owned Lenzen Group and develops, manufactures and installs complete strapping solutions for industrial applications – from strapping machines and strapping heads to handheld tools and complete packaging lines with conveyor, stacking, labelling and film technology. Production also includes consumables from its own manufacturing: packaging steel band (slitting, tempering, electrophoretic coating, induction drying, waxing, edge rounding) with a capacity of 60,000 t/year in Iserlohn-Letmathe, as well as PET band made from 99 % recycled PET and PP band by extrusion. Mechanical parts are manufactured in modern machining centres to the tightest tolerances and measured contactlessly; a doubled hardening furnace capacity supports heat treatment. Customer industries include steel, automotive, wood, building materials, fibre, wire, paper and logistics. Internationally, the company is represented with branches in France, Italy, Austria, Poland, Spain, Australia and the USA.

Tempered steel band with at least 1,000 N tensile strength and at least 12 % elongation for fully automatic strapping.
TITAN SUPERMEGA® steel band
Steel band with 1,250 N/mm² for high-strength steel grades and X-Grade steels in the automotive and pipe industries.
TITAN Megaflex I / II
Steel bands with 18 % and 16 % elongation respectively for dynamic loads in the wire industry and in hot coil applications.
TITAN Lifting & Lashing band
Lloyd's-certified special band for lifting and lashing the heaviest loads in shipping and rail transport.
TITAN Automatic machine band / bright band

Quality assurance includes incoming inspections, continuous intermediate and final inspections with 3D coordinate measuring machines and camera-based measuring systems, spectral analysis, tensile tests, salt spray tests and electrical safety tests.
