About TKW
TKW is a manufacturer of electrotechnical special cables, lines and accessories based in Monheim am Rhein. The portfolio comprises three pillars: cable production including the proprietary TKW PURFLEX® brand (PUR lines in five bright colors), cable and special assembly with cable harnesses and soldering work, and equipment for construction, trades and industry. The latter includes extension cables (grounded plug 230V, CEE three-phase 400V up to 125A), cable drums and rewind reels, LED luminaires and floodlights, as well as safety equipment such as PRCD-S devices, safety distribution boards and the POWERSAFEBOX for protecting plug connections (IP44, PA12/PP). In addition, line marking with custom text and engraving on cable drums is offered. The VDE-certified PURFLEX® lines have an extremely thick jacket, making them abrasion-resistant, cut-resistant and tear-resistant, and resistant to acids, alkalis, solvents and temperatures from -40°C to +90°C. Customers come from industry, construction and trades; a field sales team supports projects on site.

Quality
The PURFLEX® lines are VDE-certified (H05BQ-F/H07BQ-F) and were tested for durability in extreme tests (being run over by a tram, suspension up to 180 m). Cable drums and equipment comply with VDE or DGUV requirements, e.g. approval according to DGUV 203-006 (BGI608).
