About TMC Transformers

TMC Transformers develops and manufactures medium- and low-voltage dry-type transformers as well as reactors/chokes. The company masters both insulation technologies: cast resin (Cast Resin) with high mechanical strength and fire resistance, and vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) with high thermal conductivity, lower weight and compact dimensions. At the headquarters in Busto Arsizio, dry-type transformers for demanding applications with ratings up to 25 MVA and voltages up to 52 kV are produced. In Fabro (Umbria), low-voltage dry-type transformers and reactors with direct and indirect water cooling are manufactured. The in-house metalworking facility Officine Tironi in Bergamo produces protective enclosures up to IP67 protection class. Customers include industries such as railway substations, shipping, offshore oil and gas, data centers, the steel industry, mining, renewable energies and power distribution.
