About the Studio
HOFER + KROL is a studio for animation and visualization based in Mainz. The team develops concepts and storyboards as well as 3D animations and motion graphics for product films, marketing and sales. Services include automated product images for online catalogs and e-commerce, 3D data capture and modeling using photogrammetry, terrestrial laser scanning and UAV-based lidar, globe and map animations for geographic data visualization, as well as matchmoving and compositing for integrating 3D elements into live-action footage. In addition, the studio creates virtual photography and visualizations for product development and architecture, interactive VR, AR, WebGL and real-time 3D applications for education, training and marketing, as well as scientific data processing with Python, OpenCV, NumPy and machine learning methods. Sound, music and voice editing complement the visual productions. Services are offered in German.
