The family business Tobias Hürlimann in Walchwil has been active in the craft trade since 1834 and is run in its fifth generation. From the original 'Schmitte' (smithy), which produced equipment for agriculture and forestry, a company developed via the locksmith's shop that today covers the fields of sanitary installation, heating and thermal technology as well as metal construction and locksmithing. Since 1904, the company has been responsible for the construction and maintenance of the drinking water network of the Korporation Walchwil. With more than 50 employees, the company carries out planning, installation and assembly for private, commercial and municipal clients in Central Switzerland and beyond. A 24-hour emergency service rounds off the range of services.
