About the Pottery
The Töpferei Ursula Starke in Lich produced ceramics entirely by hand. The product focus was freely thrown stoneware, characterized by high fracture and edge strength. In addition to stoneware, raku ceramics as well as crafted columns and stelae were created. The workshop with sales operation was a sole proprietorship run by ceramicist Ursula Starke. After 45 years in the profession, the pottery closed permanently on 20.12.2024.
