Its core competency lies in converting MAN Truck & Bus vehicles: wheelbase changes, axle conversions and chassis modifications, frame extension, shortening and reinforcement, conversion of the drive unit, and repositioning of vehicle components such as tanks, air reservoirs and cabs. In addition, the company realizes heavy-duty conversions with tractive capacity of up to 500 t, driven steered rear axles for increased maneuverability, front supports stable up to 30 t per support, underground conversions in Top-Mount or Front-Mount variants, agrotrucks with LOF registration, as well as crane and steel construction work within steel and body construction. Toni Maurer GmbH & Co. KG supports customers from the initial inquiry through vehicle development and design with technical quotation drawings to the finished vehicle and, upon request, also takes over coordination with other body builders. In addition to vehicle construction, the company operates three service workshops in Türkheim, Mauerstetten and Landsberg am Lech for commercial vehicle repairs of all makes, accident repair, electrical work, painting and inspection services. Since 1969, the company has been a MAN service partner and is one of the largest MAN service operations in southern Germany.
