About TOPTICA Photonics
TOPTICA Photonics SE develops and produces laser systems and optoelectronic devices based on laser diodes. The portfolio includes single-mode lasers (TEM00), narrow-linewidth lasers, femtosecond lasers, laser combiners, frequency combs, rack-integrated laser systems, optical atomic clocks, guide-star lasers and terahertz systems covering a wavelength range from 190 nm to 0.1 THz. The systems are complemented by locking and driving electronics, wavemeters, optical components as well as services such as maintenance, 19-inch rack integration and automated fiber coupling. The systems are used in fields including quantum technologies, biophotonics and life science, semiconductor inspection and metrology, astronomy, space applications, lithography as well as test and measurement. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Gräfelfing near Munich, the company employs around 620 people worldwide and most recently generated a consolidated group revenue of around €140 million. Subsidiaries exist in the USA, Japan, China and France.
