About Touch Design
Touch Design Europe GmbH & Co. KG is a family business founded in 2003 by Dipl.-Ing. Jens Christian Schmidt, headquartered in Erzhausen near Darmstadt. The company develops, designs and manufactures customer-specific control units for industry: membrane keyboards and film keyboards with integrated electronics, touchscreen solutions, TFT-LCD displays, front overlays, curved front panels as well as technically refined special glasses, among others from the suppliers Schott and AGT. The film components are manufactured using screen and digital printing processes; control panels are delivered with pre-assembled components. In addition, Touch Design offers smart sourcing and second-source solutions in the EU. The portfolio is aimed at industrial plants, security systems and mobile devices as well as time recording systems for indoor and outdoor use. The company is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 and has air-conditioned storage areas with ESD protection as well as electrical and optical testing at its Erzhausen site; offices in China and Taiwan secure sourcing in Asia.
