About us
TRABOIS Sàrl is a family business from the Vallée des Ormonts in the canton of Vaud, specialising in joinery (menuiserie), carpentry (charpente) and curative wood preservation. The Mermod family has been active in timber construction for three generations and has built more than 250 chalets in madrier construction (log construction from squared timber). In 2009, Sven Mermod, son of Jean-Pierre Mermod, took over the parental business. In the workshop in Le Rosex, work of every size is produced, from custom-made bespoke pieces to renovations and new builds. The company serves mostly private customers and building owners in the region and works exclusively with wood.
