About Transtop AG

Transtop AG manufactures inductive components such as transformers, chokes/inductors, transducers and custom wound components. The core competence is the manufacture of vacuum-cast, partial-discharge-free high-voltage transducers, which are used as gate-drive transducers in industry and for railway applications; the smallest transducers with a volume from 15 cm³ are manufactured partial-discharge-free up to a test voltage of 10 kV, and up to 30 kV for larger dimensions. The portfolio also includes high-voltage transformers (vacuum casting with epoxy or polyurethane casting resin, up to approx. 5 kg), high-frequency transducers with HF litz wire, current transformers, push-pull and fly-back transformers as well as inductors from SMD format to approx. 10 kg unit weight. In addition to its own series production, the company offers high-volume series production in cooperation with an Asian partner company, including additional testing in its own facility. The offering is complemented by high-voltage insulation, assembly of electronic modules and plant engineering, an in-house jig and toolmaking department as well as rapid prototyping in its own development department. Transtop AG is a Swiss company based in Würenlos (canton of Aargau).
