About us

Trappenfabriek Fa. M. Geleijnse & Zoon manufactures custom-made wooden staircases for private residential interiors under the De Gelènzo-trappen brand. The family business, founded in 1923 and now in its third generation, offers design, manufacture and installation from a single source, with a focus on individual design and execution. It produces modern, classic and rustic interior staircases, including spiral staircases, as well as other joinery work (timmerwerk). The materials used include oak, walnut wood, MDF, solid afromosia and, in combination, steel. The staircases are produced in the company's own workshop in Giessen (NL), which also features a showroom with completed workpieces, wood species and finish variants available for consultation.
