The Treffert Group
Treffert is a specialized manufacturer for the development, production and distribution of color masterbatches, additive masterbatches, color powders and compounds. Guided by the maxim "color follows function", the coloring and properties of plastics are precisely modified – from light protection, heat protection and antistatics to light blockers and diffusers, through to food-grade plastics, bioplastics and high-performance polymers. In the company's own laser technology center with six laser sources and a 6-axis robot laser, laser weldability and laser markability of plastics are tested in feasibility studies. The compounding production comprises more than 20 extrusion lines; batches range from smallest quantities to several tons. Thanks to an archive of more than 50,000 color formulations, even long-standing formulations can be reproduced on demand. The Treffert group has been active in the field of plastic conditioning for more than 90 years and supplies industries ranging from the automotive industry to medical technology, pharmacy, sensor and lighting technology, the food industry and consumer goods. The headquarters are located in Bingen in Rhineland-Palatinate; a second site with a Centre d'Innovation is located in Ste-Marie-aux-Chênes, France.
