About KORU
KORU is the brand of trefox GmbH, based in Unterschleißheim near Munich. Founded in 2023, the company develops and distributes solar privacy screen systems that combine privacy and sun protection for terrace and balcony with integrated power generation. The panels consist of a high-quality aluminium construction with modern, highly efficient solar cells, are weather-resistant and UV-stable, and feature an integrated battery as well as intelligent control via app. The products can be easily integrated into existing smart home and PV systems and are connected like a balcony power station via a Schuko plug. In addition to the flagship Sora 1 (up to 400 watts per panel), KORU offers the Sora 1 Black, a more affordable variant with up to 450 watts peak. The scope of services includes consulting, quotation preparation, a specialist partner programme, customer service with diagnostics and problem solving, as well as a 10-year product warranty and a 25-year performance warranty on the solar modules.
