About Treibacher Schleifmittel
Treibacher Schleifmittel GmbH was spun off in 1994 as an independent company from Treibacher Industrie AG in Althofen (Carinthia) and is today part of the French Imerys Group (Imerys Fused Minerals Villach GmbH). At the Villach-Seebach site, the company produces grinding and blasting media based on corundum and aluminium oxide, including the Alodur brand, as well as superabrasives and bonded abrasives. The product range also includes alumina ceramics, bauxite and corundum bricks, and shaped refractory products for furnace and plant engineering. These materials are used in metalworking, toolmaking, the glass and ceramics industries, petrochemicals and refractory technology, among other things for grinding, cutting, polishing, lapping, honing and sandblasting. The products are delivered beyond Europe; the North American market is served via the sales company Treibacher Schleifm. GmbH N. America in Niagara Falls (USA), and customs data also indicate a shipping location in Laufenburg (Germany).
