Trelleborg is a Swedish manufacturer of engineered polymer solutions that seal, damp and protect critical applications. The Seals & Profiles business area manufactures precision-made sealing profiles, silicone façade sealants, pipe and structure sealing systems, damping solutions as well as industrial hoses and rubber products. Processes include the extrusion of sealing profiles, the manufacture and calendering of polymer-coated specialty fabrics, and the production of noise and vibration damping components, including brake shims made from fossil-free steel. Materials are in particular silicone, rubber, polymers such as Isolast, composites such as Orkot bearing material, and steel. Customer industries include construction, agriculture, aerospace, automotive (including Formula 1 and niche applications), water infrastructure, renewable energy, mining, medical technology, manufacturing and automation, ports and shipping, and the chemical process industry. Notable projects include 1.5 million meters of extruded silicone profiles for the Jeddah Tower. Products are delivered worldwide.
